The model was posing in different places and different poses very quickly.

I think all the text all should be white because the black doesn't stand out as well.

Prompt Shoot Peer Review

I like pause the best because it does a good job demonstrating the prompt, and it is very well balanced. I also like The End photo in black and white because is gives a dramatic effect. 

My least favorite is foot prints because I think they could've used the background or another rule of photography to add to the picture. I feel if the person was walking and they took a picture is would demonstrate foot prints better.

Manhattan 01/24/14 - Andrea Mohin

This was one of my top three favorite photos of the year because it is unique and doesn't just demonstrate on image. First I saw the dancers and was confused and then I saw the eye.

Rio De Janeiro, Brazil 01/09/14 - Yasuyoshi Chiba

This was one of my top three favorite photos of the year because the soccer balls are suspended in the air and look to be frozen in time. Also the photo is an all Yellow scale from black to light yellow.

Gaza Strip 08/21/14 - Amir Cohen

This was one of my top three favorite photos of the year because the rocket shoots across the sky leaving a streak of light. The clouds and stars also add to the sky so it is more complex.

Taylor Swift - Blank Space

I think this was the set of 2014 because the lyrics were so well thought out. She always knew how to make her fans love her. The music video described the song and demonstrated what it means. Taylor brings to words what she and other people feel adds a be a and its a hit.

The hunger games catching fire

Hunger games catching fire held your attention from begging to end. Through the suspense of every event something was happening. There were so many emotional moments where nothing seemed to go right. There were also action events where your on the edge of your seat.

Top news story

The ebola virus killed tons of people in africa. Some U.S. doctors went to go help save people and treat them. Ebola had never been in the U.S. Until the doctors came back infected with the disease and the government tried to keep the public calm. Not wanting the public to panic and cause an outbreak.

Jennifer Lawrence

I fee she is most influential. She is a very good actor. She shows bright spirt and is bold. She is pretty and she can sing. Ive seen more of her movies than just the hunger games and all of them she is stunning.

The 2014 world cup was the best sport event. Ronaldo who played for portugal was most entertaining to watch. He is very skilled in soccer. He also created many plays and made some goals for his team.

1. Tell me what is the one thing that happened on your holiday that you will remember? It can be a trip, a family visit, a present, something fun.
My grandparents came to visit from Iowa and we went to the capital and spent christmas together.
2. What are your resolutions for the 2015 year?
One resolution i have is to run more and I know I will because track season is starting.
3. What are you looking forward to in 2015?

Im looking forward to probably the summer time or spring break because were going to take a family vacation.

EXTRA CREDIT

1. Explain what happened to the man that was killed by the subway and how the photographer was able to take the photo. 
The man was trying to calm down a panhandler who was harassing passerby's who then pushed him in front of the on coming train. The photographer was running in front of the train taking pictures with flash to get the drivers attention.

2. Why did the photographer say he took the photo?
The photographer was using the camera flash to get the train drivers attention to hopefully have him stop the train.

3. Do you think the photographer should have taken the photo?
No, I think he should've tried to help the man out rather than trying to get the drivers attention.

4. Do you think the photographer did the best thing he could have done in this situation? Why or why not?
No, I think he could have continued trying to help the man up from the tracks or get some others near by to help, because in the photo there is on one by him except the photographer.

5. Do you agree or disagree with the decision to run the photo on the front page of the New York Post? Explain why or why not.
From a seller stand point i can see this image is a attention grabber and most likely will sell very well, but i don't agree because the family would see this mage and it shows no one was there to help the man.

6. What is more important to a photojournalist, capturing images of life as it happens or stopping bad things from happening? Why or why not?
A photojournalists job is to capture occurring images of life as they happen because that is what they do as a living, but they should also keep in mind they are also a person just like anyone else that should help someone in a life threatening situation.

7. Do you think it is ever ethically acceptable for a photographer to involve himself/herself in a situation that he or she photographs? Explain why or why not.
Yes in this case I believe it to be acceptable because he would be tying to save someones life. In other not so drastic events it might be not as acceptable.

8. Should photojournalists always avoid influencing events as they happen? Explain your answer. 
No not always, because some events such as saving wildlife influences a good cause.

9. After reading the responses from the professional photographers, what stands out as the most appropriate response for a photographer to this situation.
That the photographer should've put down his camera to help the man because trying is trying and the cameras flash was an excuse fro not helping him.
