Cancer Diagnosis Doesn't Stop Gomez
A theater teacher, Roberto Gomez was diagnosed with liver cancer. The story talks about how Gomez is recognized by the community for his 31 years of generosity and dedication as an educator. Sadly Gomez's tumor is inoperable, partially due to the fact that is located on his liver, just below his heart. The Gomez family all pull together along with their support of community to continue Mr.Gomez's passion to teach theater.

Hands free cell phones policy enacted 
This article is to raise awareness of the dangers in cell phone use while operating a vehicle. A driver of a vehicle is 23 times more likely to get in an accident when using a cell phone while driving. Solutions to this problem are mentioned and are using built in bluetooth or headphones that allow you talk through. If a driver is caught texting or using a cell phone while driving in the city of austin, they can be fined up to 500 dollars.

In "the interview" James franco and seth rogan play american journalists that are hired to assenate the north Korean dictator. In response to the release of this movie north Korean hackers threatened the company sony and the american people.

1A. Why is this your favorite? Because there are animals in the picture
1B. What rules of photo composition are evident? balance and lines

2. What is your least favorite photo in the entire paper? new years resolution photo
2A. Why is this your least favorite? because the people aren't the center of the photo and overall not appealing.

3. If you were a photographer on staff, which event/photo assignment would you have liked to do for this issue?
You will need to look through the entire paper and see the topics covered and decide which one you think would have been fun.
I would've liked to photograph the varsity soccer players.
4. Overall, how would you rate the photography in this issue? What were the strong points and weak points.
Overall it was ok, strong points were some of the bright photos grabbed your attention and helped you picture they story. Weak points were some pictures don't support the story and there are mistakes in almost every article.
